Roller Chain Sprocket Result Interpretation
Read the candidate’s classification and explanation together. A score helps rank results but does not by itself establish interchangeability or replace a required check.
| Classification | How to use it |
|---|---|
DROP_IN | The matcher identifies a direct replacement under the applicable checks. Review the technical snapshot and any warnings before selection. |
FIT_OR_BETTER | A compatible candidate with an identified improvement under the applicable rules. Review the stated difference and requirements. |
REQUIRES_MODIFICATION | A defined adaptation or conversion is needed. Review its details and the required components and operations. |
CONDITIONAL | A possible candidate has unresolved requirements or missing proof. Confirm the items shown before treating it as a replacement. |
REJECT | A known failure prevents the candidate meeting the applicable requirements. Review the explanation. |
An input conflict or insufficient information is a search-level issue, not a candidate classification. Correct the input or add the requested information before interpreting the search outcome.
A full match percentage for available comparisons does not automatically make a conditional candidate a drop-in: the result can still have unresolved proof. Reference and discovery searches use the same result-class meanings.
